The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky, assured that in the last two days in the fighting in the Russian region of Kursk the Kremlin Army lost up to an infantry battalion composed of North Korean soldiers and Russian paratroopers.

In his night speech, the head of state indicated that he received this information from the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Sirski, in a meeting on the situation in Kursk, partially occupied by kyiv forces since last August and bordering the region. northeastern Ukrainian Sumi.

“Concretely, in the battles of today (Saturday) and yesterday (Friday) near a single village -Majnovka, Kursk region- The Russian Army lost up to an infantry battalion, including North Korean soldiers and Russian paratroopers“, he indicated in his message posted on social networks.

A battalion can consist of between 300 and 1,500 soldiers.

Zelensky did not explain how many soldiers from the battalion were killed or wounded.
