Caralee Adoption Story Explained
Crystal and Jesse visited a Russian orphanage in the little hamlet of Borovichi in July 1997. After a lengthy journey, they were ultimately reunited with their new daughter, Caralee.
After returning to the US, the family relocated to a new house in Georgia. But, according to Crystal and Jesse, Caralee suddenly became reclusive and furious. Crystal resigned from her work to spend more time with Caralee, but things worsened.
The event occurred the day after Christmas. Caralee was meant to be playing with his younger brother, but it appeared like she was trying to injure him by throwing him from a 30-foot-high deck.
Aside from the deck event, Caralee informed her parents she was hallucinating and hearing voices. As a result, the couple committed Caralee to a mental facility. She was then placed in therapeutic care for several months.
