Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has reacted after losing the 2024 Ballon d’Or to Rodri.
In an entry in X, Vinicius stated that he will continue working hard.
According to him, they are not yet ready to receive it.
The Brazil international was expected to win the award until a late turn of events caused Real Madrid to boycott the ceremony on Monday.
Shortly after Rodri was confirmed winner, Vinicius tweeted: “I will do it 10 times if necessary. “They are not ready.”
Rodri won the Ballon d’Or ahead of the Real Madrid trio of Vinicius, Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal.
