Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior led the club to a convincing comeback by scoring a hat-trick in the second half of the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
The match finally ended 5-2 in favor of Real Madrid.
In a rematch of last season’s final, Dortmund took the lead with goals from Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens to silence the Bernabeu crowd.
However, the champions looked more lively after the break and broke Dortmund’s resistance with a header from Antonio Rüdiger on the hour mark, before Vinícius equalized with a shot from close range.
Lucas Vázquez put Real ahead in the 83rd minute with an unstoppable shot after a counterattack.
Vinicius, with two magnificent plays of individual brilliance, secured the victory to leave his team tied with Dortmund with six points from three games.
