Check Your Choices on the JAMB Portal
The process does not end with the change of institution/course. You are supposed to check your JAMB profile whether the changes have taken effect or not. Sometimes, due to a number of different technical problems, it may take some time, and that is why one should not be late with the actions.
1. Log in to Your JAMB Profile
Log in to your account on the portal of JAMB efacility. On the dashboard, click CAPS. It stands for Central Admissions Processing System. As your 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice respectively, ensure that your updated choices have been correctly listed. 2. Scan for Discrepancies

Proceed to the My Choices Section
Go to your JAMB CAPS My Choices page, you will be seeing a Refresh button at the bottom. That should force the system to reload your profile, hopefully showing the new institution and course choices Check Your Info
After refreshing, make sure the new selections appear; if not, one may want to contact JAMB support or go back to the CBT center to sort this out.
Why This Step Is Important
If it doesn’t reflect, your old institution could admit you instead of your new one you have chosen. Moreover, the school you are now going to will not see your details and thereby may not allow you to register for their postUTME or screening.
