Ukrainian forces have launched a new offensive in the Russian Kursk region in recent hours, in an attack that was also confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The General Staff of Ukraine has not yet commented on the new offensive. In his morning war report he only noted that on the last day Russia assaulted the Ukrainian positions in Kursk 33 times, fired 336 artillery shells, carried out 17 air strikes and launched 25 anti-tank missiles.
