The year 2024 has brought many things, including in the field of entertainment that has become a part of people’s lives to relieve their worries and relax.
There are many stars who are very prominent in 2024 considering the number of their appearances in movies and the acceptance they have received from the people of Kannywood and Hausa movies.
The BBC has named some of the Kannywood stars who will rise in 2024;
Jacob Muhammad

Yakubu Muhammad is one of the oldest filmmakers in Kannywood but his star is still shining as seen in 2024.
He is also one of the few male actors who did not stop at Kannywood alone, they crossed over to Nollywood.
He has acted in great movies that have attracted the attention of the audience such as Allura Cikin Ruwa which he is the director of Gidan Sarauta and My story.
Amina Hassan

Amina Hassan, who is the ex-wife of Adam Zango, has appeared in many films that have received recognition in 2024.
Among the movies she has done are My Story and Coal, Unraveled Hearts and The Bride’s Room.
She is the one who came out as Jamila and Maryam’s girlfriend whom Mainasara first fell in love with but she refused to trust him.
Fatema Hussain

Although she has been in the Kannywood industry for some time, this year, she has done many movies including Labarina, Jamilun Jidda, Na Ladidi and Manyan Mata.
In the movie Labarina, she appeared as Maryam where she became Mainasara’s wife.
Apart from the movie, there is criticism that she received on social media after some of the comments she made to her followers were not happy, but later she came out and apologized to the people who were hurt by her comments.
Saddiq Sani Saddiq

In the movie Labarina, he now has two wives – Maryam and Dr. Asia.
