The Super Eagles rise three places in the latest FIFA ranking

The Super Eagles have risen three places in the latest FIFA men’s ranking.

The classification was published on the official FIFA website.

The three-time African champions were previously ranked 39th in the world.

The Super Eagles also moved from sixth to fourth position in Africa.

The West Africans defeated the Libyan Mediterranean Knights 1-0 in a qualifying match for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, their only match in October.

Morocco’s Atlas Lions, Senegal’s Terangha Lions and Egypt’s Pharaohs are the only teams ranked above the Super Eagles on the continent.

Argentina remains at the top of the ranking with France and Spain in second and third position respectively.

England and Brazil completed the five best teams in the world.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on November 28.
