Red Star Belgrade forward and Super Eagles star Peter Olayinka is leaning on spiritual inspiration after his injury setback.
The striker is expected to be out for around nine months due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Olayinka suffered the injury in Red Star Belgrade’s UEFA Champions League away match against AS Monaco.
The 29-year-old underwent successful surgery on Wednesday in Finland.
The former Slavia Prague striker trusts in God’s strength to overcome the setback.
“In the midst of your struggles, God is your constant companion.
“He whispers peace into your soul and gives you strength to face another day Isaiah 26:3 God is the greatest.” wrote in X.
