Donald Trump is on his way back to the White House after promising to end a number of problems including immigration, the economy, and the war in Ukraine.
It seems that he has gained a lot of supporters as a result of his political policies, especially in the National Assembly after his Republican Party regained control of the National Senate.
In his election victory speech, Mr. Trump vowed to “govern according to the slogan: ‘Deliver on our promises’.”
But in some areas, he gave a brief explanation of how he would achieve his goals.
When Fox News asked him in 2023, would he use his seat in an inappropriate way, or harass political opponents? He then said that he would not do it, “except on the first day”.

1. Deport undocumented immigrants
During his campaign, Trump promised the largest deportation of undocumented immigrants in the country’s history.

Experts told the BBC that this promise to deport immigrants made by Trump will face resistance from the legal side, and this will cause a drag on the country’s economic development.
2. Economic measures and taxes
Polls show that the economy is one of the most important issues that voters consider.
Trump has promised to bring an “end to inflation” – which peaked under the Biden administration before beginning to decline. But the president’s power to reduce inflation is limited.
He also promised to reduce the tax rate, which will be based on the 2017 tax plan that started. He tried to remove the tax on some things and cancel it on things related to life and security.
Mr. Trump is also determined to impose a new tariff of at least 10 percent on foreign goods, in order to reduce the trade deficit. The goods imported into the country from China will face an additional 60% tax, as he said.

3. Repeal climate change laws
During his first term in office, Trump abandoned hundreds of environmental protection agreements, and made the United States the first country to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.
This time, he again vowed to repeal some laws, especially in a way that would help small car manufacturers.
He has repeatedly criticized electric cars, promising to reverse Biden’s decision to return to the use of cars that do not pollute the environment.

4. End the war in Ukraine

Contrary to the wishes of some of his supporters, Trump said during his debate with Kamala Harris that he would not sign the abortion law.
In 2022, the nation’s Supreme Court — whose majority were conservatives appointed by Trump in his first term — struck down abortion rights.
Abortion rights have been a major issue in Harris’ campaign, and most states have approved abortion laws in the election.
Trump himself has repeatedly said that states have the right to enforce their own laws on abortion.
6. Amnesty for those who rebelled on the 6th of January

Trump has denied wrongdoing, and successfully blocked a hearing on one of the allegations before the election.
Trump will return to the White House as the first person to be charged with a serious crime, after being found guilty of falsifying business documents in New York.
