The vice president of the Senate, Jibrin Barau, awarded the members of the Flying Eagles.
Barau has donated N2 million to the Flying Eagles following the team’s victory over Ivory Coast.
Aliyu Zubairu’s team defeated the Ivorians 2-1 in their final group match on Thursday to book a place in the semi-final of the ongoing WAFU B Under-20 Championship.
The defending champions will face Niger Republic in the semi-final on Saturday.
A victory in the game will guarantee the team a place in the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana and Ivory Coast will meet in the other semi-final.
South Africa will host the 2025 U-20 AFCON.
