On Thursday, November 28, the House of Representatives confirmed Lit-Gen. Olufemi Oluyede as substantive Chief of the Army Staff.
This followed its assessment on Wednesday by the Joint Defense and Army Committees.
The chairman of the committee, Babajimi Benson, presented the report during the floor and urged the House to confirm Oluyede; prayer granted in the session chaired by the vice president, Benjamin Kalu.
