José Mourinho, the Fenerbahce coach, has denied speculation that he is willing to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to the club.
With Ronaldo’s time at Al Nassr coming to an end, it has been claimed that Mourinho wants to bring his compatriot back to European football.
But Mourinho has joked that the 39-year-old would only visit Türkiye to eat or to see him.
“The news about Cristiano Ronaldo joining Fenerbahçe is ridiculous” Mourinho said.
“Cristiano could come to eat in Istanbul because it is right in the middle of the road between Saudi Arabia and Portugal.
“Or maybe he comes to see his old friend José; “We can eat at my hotel!”
