In an interview with the magazine Harper’s Bazaar, Miley Cyrus He said that he is already working on his next album and announced that he will call it Something Beautiful. In addition, the 2024 Grammy winner confessed that for the creation of this new production she was inspired by the music of Pink Floyd, more specifically in her album The Wallwhich premiered in 1982.

The singer also revealed that she watched the surreal classic rock film as a teenager with one of her brothers and a close friend. The three rented a limousine, smoked marijuana and wore 70s-style fur coats: “We really leaned in. And that’s why I have a heartfelt attachment to her. My idea was to do The Wall, but with a better and more glamorous wardrobe and full of pop culture,” he declared.

Although she did not specify the theme of this new project, the famous woman assured that the entire album will have a “hypnotizing and glamorous” vibe, with which she intends to “cure” the pop genre: “It is a concept album that It is an attempt to somehow medicate a sick culture through music”he explained.

Likewise, the artist emphasized that her desire is not only to create music to bring joy to her fans, but to impact their lives in some way: “I would like to be a human psychedelic for people. The performer even confessed that currently, when she makes new music, she is inspired through the mixture of other disciplines such as fashion, film, music and visual arts. For example, during the recording of her single “Used to Be Young” in 2023, she brought several Maison Margiela pieces into the studio as inspiration. These garments came from designer John Galliano’s Co-Ed 2023 collection, based on the concept of “dressing in a hurry.”
