In his opinion, this siege is “an act of war against two countries, Argentina and Brazil,” and he asked “the world to raise its voice against the violation of the right to asylum.”
Machado recalled that this Wednesday a session is being held at the Organization of American States to address the issue and said that “history will be implacable with those who do nothing, because those who do nothing take the side of evil.”
