The Israeli police confirmed this Sunday the arrest of three suspects related to the launching of two flares at the private residence of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Caesareaabout 100 kilometers north of Jerusalem.
According to the authorities, Netanyahu and his family were not in the house at the time of the attack. “The court ordered a gag order on the details of the investigation and the identity of the suspects for 30 days to avoid interruptions or damage to the investigation,” a police statement detailed.

For his part, the Minister of Justice, Yariv Levindescribed the incident as part of a series of violent actions aimed at destabilizing the government. “It is the last link in a chain of violent and anarchic actions whose purpose is to provoke the assassination of the prime minister and the overthrow of the elected government through a violent coup”, he stated.
Also, the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvirdescribed the event as an unacceptable crossing of limits. “Today is a flare and tomorrow is a real fire,” he said on his Instagram account. Xdemanding an end to what he considered a campaign of incitement against Netanyahu and his family.
