Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has reflected on his decision to join Turkish Super League champions Galatasaray in the summer.
Osimhen stated that he would not let anyone decide his future.
The Nigerian international joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal after negotiations with Chelsea and Al-Ahli failed.
The 25-year-old stated that he was willing to stay at Napoli until January before being contacted by Galatasaray.
“I had plans to stay there and wait three or four months and leave in January, but I think it was fair for me to stay too because I wouldn’t let anyone decide for me.” Osimhen told Turkish media at Galatasaray’s training center.
“It was important for me to stay there as I didn’t get the deserved move that I really preferred.”
Osimhen has two goals and four assists in the first four games of the season with Galatasaray.
