Kyle was arrested for the shooting, and some people supported him and another group who claimed him as a culprit. There were times when he sobbed in the court.

He tried his best to prove that he used the arm to defend himself or else, he would have been killed by them as they tend to attack him. He added he was threatened.

Kyle said he didn’t intend to kill them but wanted to stop them from hurting him as he was attached by skateboard. He shot Rosenbaum, Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz.
