After the overwhelming success of This is Us, Dan Fogelman return to the ring with Paradise, a political thriller that promises to captivate the Disney+ audience. Starring by Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden y Julianne Nicholson, The series will premiere its first three episodes on January 28, 2025, with subsequent weekly chapters.
Set in an idyllic community inhabited by influential figures, the plot revolves around the assassination of a former president of the United States (Marsden) and the subsequent investigation that unravels secrets, lies and conspiracies. The main suspect is Cal (Brown), a man whose relationship with the victim unleashes an intricate web of questions.
Dan Fogelman returns to collaborate with Sterling K. The assassination of a former president in the heart of a seemingly perfect community is the starting point of Paradise. According to the newly released trailer, Marsden’s character is the axis around which the community’s residents’ darkest secrets revolve. Produced by 20th Television, Paradise features a top-notch creative team, including Fogelman as executive producer alongside Sterling K. Brown, John Requa, Glenn Ficarra and Jess Rosenthal. This is the first project created by Fogelman since the end of This is Us in 2022, although he has been active as an executive producer on series such as Only Murders in the bulding.
