The elected president of the United States, Donald Trumpannounced new appointments to his administration on Saturday, including attorney Stanley Woodward Jr. as chief legal advisor and presidential assistant.
Trump, who will take office on January 20, continues to assemble his team with figures close and loyal to his political environment.
Woodward Jr., known for representing several Trump associates in court cases, including Waltin Nautapersonal assistant to the former president accused of mishandling classified documents in Florida, will be a key figure in the Office of the White House Chief of Staffheaded by Susie Wiles.
Trump’s team also includes Robert Gabriel Jr.who will be presidential assistant for policy, Nicholas Lunaas deputy head of strategic implementation, and William “Beau” Harrisondeputy chief of operations.
The appointment of Woodward Jr. is not the only case in which Trump rewards legal allies. In November, he proposed Todd Blanchehis defense attorney in the New York case related to irregular payments to a porn actress, as number two in the Department of Justice.
Trump dedicated a special mention to Nicholas Lunanoting that his task will be “to ensure that the diverse coalition of Americans who achieved victory in the electoral college and the national popular vote are energized and elevated.”

Fertitta, in addition to his business success, is known for his support of social causes, such as initiatives for children, law enforcement and the medical community.
Likewise, he played a prominent role as a donor during Trump’s 2024 election campaign, contributing at least $487,300 to the Trump 47 Committee and $3,300 to Donald J. Trump for President 2024 Inc., according to data from Bloomberg.
