David Cox’s story as the convicted killer of his wife and sexually insulating his stepdaughter is garnering attention after his death row execution.

A death row prisoner, David Neal Cox, convicted of murdering his estranged wife and sexually harassing his stepdaughter, has chosen a bizarre last meal before the execution.

Cox’s execution will be marked as the state’s first execution since 2012 and the ninth in the United States this year.

The local killer died at 6:12 pm at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.

David Neal Cox’s story is very disturbing as he was a local killer who killed his estranged wife and sexually assaulted his stepdaughter at a home in Sherman in May 2010.

According to Lindsey Kirk’s statement, her mother, Kim, married David Cox when she was an infant. When Kirk was eight years old, her mother informed her about her biological father.

Cox was a commercial truck driver until the day when he sustained a back injury and began to receive disability payments and used to inhale methamphetamine.

Kirk claimed that her stepfather, David, has sexually harassed her for some years while her mother was away from home, but was really afraid to inform anybody as she was threatened by Neal Cox.

In thy summer of 2009, Lindsey Kirk emailed her mother and informed her about Cox’s wrongdoing. Quickly after that, David was booked into the jail in North Mississippi.

He was charged with child abuse, possession of methamphetamine, and statutory rape, but was freed from prison without facing charges in April 2010.

David Neal Cox murdered Kim Cox because she filed the charges against him for sexually assaulting her daughter, Lindsey Kirk.

After Cox was freed from prison, Kim and Cox encountered at a Crossroads, where David raised his palm up like a gun and pointed at her.

Within a few days after the encounter, David murdered Kim and even assaulted Lindsey Kirk in front of her dying mother. All of this happened while police surrounded the house and plead with him to free the hostages.

Hence, after being on death row for over nine years, David Cox was executed at the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman at 6 pm.
