The Confederation of African Football has announced new prize money for this year’s edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
According to CAF, the winner will take home a cash prize of $600,000, while second places will be rewarded with $400,000.
The third-place team will take home $350,000, while the fourth-place team will receive $300,000.
All teams will receive at least $150,000 as a participation fee.
Nigerian champions Edo Queens will make their first appearance in the competition.
The competition will take place from November 9 to 23 in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco.
