Arsenal are set to sign Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler for their manager Mikel Arteta.
This is according to Sport. The report revealed that the North London Premier League club has been in contact with Guler’s entourage to understand his situation at Madrid and assess his interest in a possible transfer to the Gunners.
Güler is not happy with his current situation at Real Madrid and the midfielder wants to get more playing time for Los Blancos.
The Turkish international joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce last year.
He made 12 appearances in his debut season in La Liga.
But the 19-year-old has struggled to secure a regular role in Carlo Ancelotti’s team after impressing for Türkiye at Euro 2024 in the summer.
He has only started three of Real Madrid’s games in all competitions so far this season.
